Motorcyclist seriously injured in Wyandanch

The motorcyclist, identified as Kendron Rivers, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital with serious injuries.

A 30-year-old Huntington Station man was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in Wyandanch.

According to Suffolk County police, a 43-year-old Wyandanch resident was driving southbound on Long Island Avenue and attempting to make a left turn when the vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a northbound motorcyclist.

The motorcyclist, identified as Kendron Rivers, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks.

Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact detectives at 631-854-8152.
