Over 220,000 pounds of water chestnuts and other aquatic invasive species were removed from Tibbets Brook Park's lake.
It was part of the multiyear lake revitalization project that began in 2018.
Over 14 acres of water chestnuts were removed by the machine and over 82,000 by hand since the project started.
Tibbetts Brook Park is one of the largest parks in Westchester.
