A Montauk man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing his ex-girlfriend's lover.
Joseph Grippo pleaded guilty in July to bludgeoning Robert Casado to death with a pickax handle in June 2019 in Montauk.
Casado's body was found two weeks later at Kirk Park.
Prosecutors say Grippo killed Casado because they were both romantically involved with the same woman.
