Main Street in Huntington offers some great businesses for Long Islanders to enjoy.
News 12’s Caroline Flynn stopped at various locations to see what they have to offer.
First, News 12 stopped at Crave Café and Bakery to check out some sweet treats.
The bakery opened in October after months of delay to the pandemic.
News 12 also took a trip to Munday’s to check out the well-known breakfast spot.
The restaurant switched owners in March 2020 just a week before the restaurant was forced to shut down due to the pandemic.
Milkyways Ice Cream and Cereal Bar allows customers to mix two of their favorite treats together.
People can choose an ice cream base of chocolate, vanilla or strawberry and then add their favorite cereal to it.
Main Street Board Game Café offers people a place to enjoy some friendly competition and some tasty food.
The business also provided curbside pickup for game lovers during the height of the pandemic and virtual opportunities for children to play Dungeons and Dragons.
Huntington is certainly known for its nightlife, but business owners say it's been a little slow to return from the pandemic. They hope that will change when The Paramount has performances and shows once again. The first is scheduled for next month.
