The first class of Molloy
University freshmen moved into their dorms on Monday.
This is the first group of
students entering the school since Molloy College earned its university status.
The 646 students who
represent the class of 2026 are also the largest group of freshmen in the
school’s history.
Twenty-three states and 14
countries are represented in the class.
There was a mix of
excitement and nerves for the start of their college journey.
Administrators say this is
more of a pre-pandemic move-in days as many COVID-19 safety protocols have been
relaxed.
All students and faculty do
have to be vaccinated against COVID.
