A man who police were searching for as the victim of a possible shooting and abduction has been located in good health, police say.
Authorities had been searching for 25-year-old Aurelio Maldonado after they said he might have been wounded and stuffed into the trunk of a car in Inwood early Sunday morning.
Police announced later Sunday evening that Maldonado has been located.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the report of the possible abduction.
