Last remaining lawsuit against Islanders' Belmont Park area tossed: The final remaining lawsuit against the New York Islanders' new arena has been tossed, clearing the way for the project at Belmont Park. The lawsuit was filed by the Village of Floral Park and various civic groups. They wanted to reverse state approvals for the $1.3 billion project.
