A Mastic woman pleaded guilty to reckless endangerment after her dog mauled a toddler.
Amy Willi admitted to not properly securing the animal when she opened the front door, and police said she knew her dog was violent.
The 2-year-old was bit on his face, head and leg. The boy's uncle, who was watching him, was also bit.
As part of Willi's plea deal, she cannot own or care for any animals for three years.
