Suffolk police are on the lookout for a masked man who broke into a North Babylon home and sexually assaulted the young woman who lives there.
Police say the man entered the home at 2 a.m. Tuesday through a window that had a broken lock. They say the victim is in her mid-20s and was home alone at the time of the attack. Police characterize the case as complicated and are not releasing many details.
Suffolk police are advising residents to make sure their windows and doors are locked and that their alarm systems are working.
