A Marine from Long Island is being denied permission to return home and see his premature baby.
"He's getting very frustrated because he can't come home," says new mom Cristal Wagenhauser about her husband, Lance Cpl. Keith Wagenhauser.
The U.S Marine Corps says emergency leave is typically granted when someone in the immediate family is near death or has already died. No Marines in Wagenhauser's unit have been sent home for births, although 16 became new parents since they deployed back in May.
