A Manchester Township man has been sentenced to 30 years in state prison on terrorism charges.
Dion Marsh, 29, pleaded guilty to a series of violent incidents in Lakewood and Jackson Township.
Authorities say Marsh attempted to kill and hurt five Jewish people in 2022. They say Marsh ran over four people in a stolen vehicle and stabbed one of them in the chest. Authorities say the five victims were “visibly identifiable as Orthodox Jews.”
Officials say that Marsh’s crimes were “intended to terrorize the Jewish community."
Marsh was initially sentenced to 40 years in prison on attempted murder, attempted kidnapping and weapons charges.
The sentences will be served concurrently.
