Police say a good Samaritan was stabbed when he attempted to break up a fight in Farmingdale early Sunday morning.
According to officials, the 23-year-old victim saw two men fighting in a parking lot on Main Street and went to intervene.
One of the men stabbed him in the arm with a kitchen knife, police say.
The victim is expected to be OK.
Police have not made any arrests. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS.
