man was rescued from a burning home in West Babylon on Thursday night.
The
fire broke out at the home on Plymouth Street around 7 p.m.
Officials
say a neighbor and an off-duty volunteer firefighter helped rescued the man
from the home.
A
woman inside managed to escape on her own.
Both
were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
