Man convicted in Meadowbrook brick toss to be sentenced
A second man who threw bricks and cinder blocks from an overpass onto the Meadowbrook Parkway will be sentenced today.
Jacob Palant, of Syosset, faces up to 25 years in prison when he is sentenced.
Palant was convicted of assault in May along with Andrew Denton of East Meadow.
Prosecutors say two people were hurt when debris thrown by the men and came through their windshields in Uniondale in 2015.
Denton was sentenced last month to 10 years in prison.
