A Mastic Beach man is accused of driving drunk and causing a crash that injured a girl.

Police say Donald Savage slammed his SUV into Karen Johnson's sedan while it was stopped at a traffic light on William Floyd Parkway at Robinwood Drive Friday night.

Johnson's 12-year-old daughter was in the car. She was treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Savage is charged with DWI.
