A Long Beach ex-convict has been charged with a Christmas Day burglary and kidnapping.
Police say Lachance Bryant broke into a woman's home, held a gun to her head, and then led police on a brief chase before being arrested.
News 12 has been told Bryant forcibly entered the woman's home located near Park Place and West Park Avenue in Long Beach.
Bryant has several prior violent arrests and served prison time for attempted assault, according to police.
