A man is accused of robbing three businesses in Suffolk County this week.
The incidents happened at QuickChek in Copiague, Sunrise Variety in Amityville, and BP in Farmingdale, Suffolk police say.
Nehemiah Byers, 24, of Amityville, took cash from the registers at each location and displayed what appeared to be a handgun, according to police.
The thefts took place on Jan. 25 and 27.
Detectives arrested Byers on Wednesday after the Farmingdale robbery.
He is facing additional charges for resisting arrest and possessing a controlled substance.
