A man accused of setting an East Islip bar on fire was arrested on Friday, according to police.

Detectives say Paul Lucia, of Islip, ignited the back area of Riley Fibbers after he was asked to leave on Thursday night.

Everyone inside was evacuated and no injuries were reported.

Police say they identified Lucia as the suspect following an investigation at the business.

Officers found him inside his car on Friday, which they say had stolen license plates.

Authorities say the 60-year-old is charged with arson and possession of stolen property.
