Queens man arrested for multiple residential burglaries in Nassau County

A man was arrested for a slew of recent home burglaries in Nassau County.

Mario Hurtado Galindo, 37, of Queens, is accused of unlawfully entering various residences, according to police.

Detectives tell News 12 the thefts happened in New Hyde Park, Westbury, Bethpage, Woodmere and Roslyn Heights.

While inside, Hurtado Galindo allegedly removed assorted jewelry, designer handbags and cash.

Nassau police say the man has a warrant out for his arrest for a burglary in Richmond, Texas.

Further investigation revealed he is also illegally in the United States and is subject to removal proceedings.

Hurtado Galindo is facing six counts of burglary second degree and six counts of criminal mischief third degree.
