A Springs man who tried to kill his ex in front of the couple's children has been sentenced.
Sabas Martinez was sentenced to 25 years in prison today.
Prosecutors say Martinez beat and stabbed the mother of his three children and then shot her in the neck with an air rifle in East Hampton.
Sanchez survived the attack and delivered a victim's impact statement in court today.
