The next time you pick up a receipt from your car dealership, that piece of paper may have been made in Suffolk. 'Short Run Forms' in Bohemia is proving that paper is still very much in demand.

'Short Run Forms' has been in business for nearly four decades, specializing in custom paper forms for businesses of all kinds. "We manufacture forms, and computer forms, and cut sheets for trade printers," said Andrew Boccio, Vice President of Short Run Forms.

The company started in 1988; it has adapted to significant technological changes in a trade that has become rare. It is the work Andrew Boccio has spent decades doing. "I started out at 16, I was a junior in high school, it was a business form place, and I really enjoyed it," Andrew Boccio, Vice President of Short Run Forms.

Printing is a family business for Andrew; his daughter also works in the printing industry with her own business called BB Sign & Co.

Andrew and his business partner Steven Looney are preparing to retire. The two are passing the company on to the next generation. And while the industry has shrunk, the pride in the work remains. "It makes me proud… and I think if my dad was here, he would be proud," said Andrew. Even in a digital world, Andrew says some things are still better on paper.
