Rebecca Brignoni is turning fresh Long Island flowers into custom bouquets and arrangements for weddings across the Tri-State area. Brignoni is the founder of Perla Fleur says she shops at local wholesalers and East End farms whenever flowers are in season.

"I like to shop at local wholesalers and, depending on the season, I'll drive out to Riverhead and go to the farms out there," Brignoni said. She started Perla Fleur a few years ago after years of working in the floral industry. "I wanted to do a more organic and freestyle look rather than a more traditional style," she said.

Brignoni says the best part of her job is seeing a bride's reaction on her wedding day. "It's surreal, and I get so much joy when I see the look on the bride's face," she said.

Perla Fleur is also a family business, with Brignoni's parents and brother helping make each wedding day special.
