Those observing Passover don’t eat leavened bread, meaning pizza is out of the question.
But now there’s an option at one local pizzeria – matzah pizza.
Hudson Greenstein, 10, is the founder of Yalla Matzah Pizza. The sale of matzah pizza began last Passover at Hudson’s local pizzeria in Westchester and this year he’s expanded to Long Island.
The pizza can be purchased at Frankie’s Pizzeria & Restaurant in Merrick.
Customers can choose their own toppings and there’s a gluten-free option.
Hudson and his parents say that some of the proceeds will go toward charities.
