For one night, the chefs at Tellers Next Door won’t just be cooking for a night out. They’ll be cooking for a cause. “Chefs Against Hunger” begins Monday, bringing eight Long Island chefs together for a series of dinners benefiting Long Island Cares at Tellers Next Door. 100% of the proceeds goes to Long Island Cares.

Each chef will create a special multi-course meal, with the proceeds helping provide food to Long Islanders facing hunger.

The series opens Monday with chef Eric LeVine of 317 Main Street. He’ll serve a five-course dinner with wine pairings, beginning with a cocktail hour at 6:30 p.m.

The dinners continue through Nov. 3, featuring chefs from restaurants including The Halyard, Blackbird Kitchen & Cocktails, The Trattoria, Tellers, and Louie’s Prime Steak & Seafood.
