Officials say a Long Island University student has been charged in a child porn case.
Prosecutors say Robert Garneau, of upstate New York, used video game and social media sites to get minors to send him pornographic pictures and videos.
According to prosecutors, the 21-year-old used several screennames, and even posed as a girl, to trick kids into sending him images.
In some cases, court documents say Garneau threatened the alleged victims into sending more images against their will.
Garneau is facing three counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, each carrying a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison.
