LIU, Columbia, Pace sued for refunds due to coronavirus changes

Students are now suing several colleges, including Long Island University, because of the coronavirus.
Newsday says Long Island University, as well as Columbia University and Pace University are named in the federal lawsuits.
The pandemic forced classes to move online for the remainder of the spring semester.
The lawsuits maintain that students who enrolled in regular classes should get at least partial refunds because they are not getting the education and services they paid for.
