The Long Island Rail Road is on or close to schedule after a broken rail stopped many trains in their tracks during the Tuesday morning rush.
Chopper 12 was over the Farmingdale train station where trains were canceled or suspended throughout the morning commute.
The suspensions also affected many commuters on the Ronkonkoma line.
Service was back to normal by Tuesday afternoon.
