Limb Kind Foundation fashion show raises $50K to get prosthetics to people in need

The Limb Kind Foundation held an adaptive fashion show in Atlantic Beach.
The "Show Your Shine" event was organized to help get prosthesis to deserving people in third-world countries.
Solan Weakly, a 9-year-old who lost a leg at age 3 due to a rare bone tumor, was among the participants.
“It was just amazing. It was so fun. You got to do a lot of spins, and do whatever you want,” she said.
“Just seeing her be so free and so happy, it’s just stunning. Probably one of my favorite nights in a long time,” said Shay Weakly, her mother.
Robert Schulman, of the Limb Kind Foundation, hopes this event can make a difference in the world.
“Most of the kids that we are giving a prosthesis to have never had a prosthesis in their life or are wearing something that truly does not fit them,” he said.
The show raised over $50,000 to help the Limb Kind Foundation with their outreach and future trips.
