At least three cars were broken into and one was stolen within a four-block area in Lido Beach.
Police say the thefts were on Eden Road and Lagoon Drive East and Lagoon Drive West.
Nassau police tell News 12 Long Island they have several reports that items like credit cards were snatched out of vehicles overnight and that even a Land Rover was stolen.

Dorie Shoshana woke up to find her husband's car was broken into in the middle of the night in her driveway.

"Our neighbor told us this morning and then my husband went to the car and saw that papers had been shuffled around and things had been thrown around in the car, so that's how we knew," says Shoshana. The Shoshanas say nothing was taken, however.
