As with most years, a number of Long Island residents are saying their number one goal for the new year is to hit the gym, stay healthy and keep in shape.
News 12's Elisa Distefano ventured to Gym Nation in Riverhead to seek advice for those ready to hit the gym come January.
One trainer at the gym says the key to continuing to work out is to keep it interesting and change things up every so often. He also says to find something that you like and stick with it.
