A man from Long Island is being called a hero for stopping a combative passenger on a subway in Los Angeles.
The act was caught on tape in a video that has now been viewed more than a million and a half times on social media.
In the video, a shirtless man appears to begin arguing with other passengers on the train, one man even trying to fend him off with his bike.
That is when Adrian Kaczmarek, from Port Jefferson Station, stepped in to help.
In the video, Kaczmarek is seen plating his foot on the man's chest and holding him down until police arrive.
News 12 spoke to Kaczmarek on the phone about the incident which happened over the weekend.
Kaczmarek, who moved to California four years ago, is now being called the "Viking Guy" for his quick thinking. He says he just didn't want to see anyone get hurt.
