A Long Island banana business man already serving time in prison is facing new charges. 
Thomas Hoey Jr., originally from Garden City, is accused of stealing more than $800,000, according to several reports. 
According to police, the money was meant for retirement savings for employees of his family owned Long Island Banana Company. 
As News 12 has reported, Hoey is already serving one to four years for assaulting his girlfriend. 
Hoey is also awaiting sentencing for supplying cocaine to a Manhattan woman who died at a party.
