LI Artifacts Museum opens vault to 200 years of education
The Long Island Artifacts Museum in Plainview has opened a new exhibit highlighting two centuries of education in the area. The museum, located next to the John F. Kennedy High School library, features more than 200 items, including books, school bells, lunch boxes and news articles. "We've gotten things from the foundations from around the Island," said Nick Ventimiglia, who contributed to the exhibit. The museum is open to the public.
