Two years ago, Reeva and her adventurous mother, Roma Gupta, were taking an introductory flight lesson out of Republic Airport in Farmingdale when something went terribly wrong.
The single-engine plane crashed next to the Long Island Rail Road tracks just off Wellwood Avenue.
The National Transportation Safety Board released a report that revealed there was a report of smoke in the cockpit of that plane less than two months before the fatal crash.
News 12 reached out to the Waizman Aviation company, but it has not returned our request for comment
