2h agoA kitten is alive and well thanks to some rescue efforts in Mastic.
The little kitty was pulled out of a PVC fence by Frankie Floridia with Strong Island Animal Rescue.
Floridia says he got a call from a woman who saw the kitten fall into the post, which was uncapped.
Floridia had to cut the bottom of it off so he could get his arm through.
The 6-week-old kitten will be up for adoption soon through Strong Island Animal Rescue League.
