King Kullen recalls ground beef sold in Island Park over contamination concerns

The meat is King Kullen’s own brand of 80% lean ground beef and was sold this past Monday July 15 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

King Kullen in Island Park has pulled 18 packages of ground beef because they may contain glass or plastic particles.

The meat is King Kullen’s own brand of 80% lean ground beef and was sold this past Monday July 15 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The supermarket says no other meat is affected.

The chain is asking anyone who bought the ground beef to return it to the store.
