As New Jersey experiences another day of temperatures above 90 degrees, some people sought escape from the heat by taking in an afternoon of skiing.

Big Snow at the American Dream megamall in East Rutherford is New Jersey’s only indoor ski slope. The area is set at 28 degrees year-round, which is a great way to escape the sweltering heat.

Big Snow has room for 250 people to ski every hour. It is at half-capacity because of the pandemic.

In addition to renting out ski gear, Big Snow will also rent out warm hats and coats for anyone who may have put their winter clothing in storage for the summer.
