Just for kicks: Kickball league takes over Ducks stadium after season canceled

The Quackers kickball league features 13 teams, including LI Kick, Ballbusters, 2 Legit To Kick, We Peg Hard, Islipians and Quarantine Cividiots.

The coronavirus pandemic canceled the Long Island Ducks' season, but there's a new game in town at the Bethpage Ballpark in Central Islip.

The Quackers kickball league features 13 teams, including LI Kick, Ballbusters, 2 Legit To Kick, We Peg Hard and Quarantine Covidiots.

Some of the players are kickball first timers, and others are big time kickball crazies.

There are arguments and injuries, double plays on the field and disagreements off of it - all of it putting life back into the stadium

For the next six weeks, they'll be fighting to be the crowned kings and queens and the Quackers league.
