A judge has temporarily blocked the release of police body camera video from Justin Timberlake’s drunk driving arrest on the East End.

Sag Harbor Village Police have until April 9 to submit documents showing cause for releasing the footage.

As News 12 has reported, the pop star filed a lawsuit against the village and its police department to try to stop them from releasing the video.

Timberlake’s lawyers say it would “devastate” his privacy and cause “severe and irreparable harm” to his reputation.

A temporary restraining order barring the video’s release remains in place for now.

Timberlake accepted a plea deal that amounted to a traffic violation after the June 2024 arrest, which required him to make a public service announcement, complete community service, pay a fine and have his license suspended for 90 days.

News 12 has reached out to the village for comment and has yet to hear back.
