The Selden mom accused of torturing dogs at her home lost custody of all seven of her children Tuesday.
A family court judge ruled that two of Sharon McDonough?s children will be taken care of by her 21-year-old son. The others will go to foster care. The judge also advised everyone involved to get therapy.
McDonough also appeared in criminal court, where she pleaded not guilty to animal cruelty.
Last week, McDonough?s oldest son came forward accusing her of abusing her children and forcing them to help her torture and kill animals. Authorities say they found bodies of 20 dogs buried in the backyard.
McDonough is due back in court Dec. 7.
