A Bay Shore man convicted of raping two girls was sentenced Monday to 50 years to life in one of the cases.
Juan Pablo Zelaya, 30, was sentenced today following a March conviction in the rape of an 11-year-old girl.
Zelaya was convicted last year of raping a 10-year-old girl. He was sentenced to 25 years to life in that case.
In both 2012 attacks, he told the girls to go into a bedroom saying he wanted to pray with them.
Prosecutors say that Zelaya will be deported back to his native El Salvador if he is ever paroled.
