A Holbrook man is accused of driving while intoxicated and causing a serious crash on Sunrise Highway.
Police say James Hober rear-ended a minivan on the highway Sunday morning near Locust Avenue in Bohemia.
The minivan overturned, seriously injuring a female passenger inside who has been identified as JoAnne Barbato, 49. The driver of the minivan, 51-year-old Richard Mascia, suffered minor injuries.
Hober, 59, wasn't hurt. He has been charged with driving while intoxicated.
