Enjoy art from around the world and Long island on this Road Trip: Close to Home at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
The museum in Roslyn Harbor has a brand new exhibit called "Impressionism a World View."
"I think it's probably the most beautiful exhibition this museum and Long Island has ever seen. It is the art of color and the art of light," says Dr. Charles Riley, of the Nassau County Museum of Art.
In the main gallery you'll find the masterpieces - work from the greatest artists in history.
The exhibition takes you around the world to Poland, Vietnam, Venice and New York City.
You can see art from Long Island's North Fork, and you'll recognize so many spots including the Mattituck Inlet.
You can also see the work of one if the world's greatest water colorists - Oyster Bay's Barrbara Ernst Prey inside the mansion that was once home to the Frick Family.
You can also visit the art on the grounds of the William Cullen Bryant Preserve where the cherry blossoms are beginning to bloom.
The museum is open every day except Mondays, and the exhibit will be there through July.
