MacArthur Airport is getting some financial help as it struggles with fewer flights and less cash.
The Islip Town Board has voted to provide MacArthur with $100,000 in help from consultants, according to Newsday.
Projections estimate MacArthur lost as much as $1.4 million last year.
Consultants blame lost flights and less people flying out of the airport.
The consultants are expected to help the airport in its search for new airlines.
