An apparent electrical problem caused an Islip garage to go up in flames.
Firefighters say they quickly put out the flames at the home on North Ocean Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
PSEGLI shut off the power, and the fire did not spread to the house.
One firefighter suffered a minor injury.
