The New York Islanders are again being hit hard by another COVID outbreak.
Wednesday's home game against the Detroit Red Wings has been postponed when another player was added to the NHL's health and safety protocols.
Brock Nelson was added to the COVID-19 list, joining Anthony Beauvillier, Cal Clutterback, Zach Parise and Oliver Wahlstrom.
The Red Wings have at least six players out.
"Ideally I'd like every team to have a full complement of players and we're playing and there's no disruption but that's reality," says Islanders coach Barry Trotz. "That's fantasy hockey right now."
The Islanders have no had five games postponed this season due to coronavirus-related issues.
There have been 70 games postponed so far this season in the NHL.
