Incumbent Anna Throne-Holst has her eyes on a third term as Southampton supervisor.

The Democrat says she is focused on maintaining the town's financial stability, protecting water quality, preserving land and keeping taxes low.

Republican challenger and former supervisor Linda Kabot says her biggest issue is code enforcement. Kabot also claims Throne-Holst is reaping the success of financial policies she put in place.

During her term, Kabot raised taxes, but she says Throne-Holst supported the increases as a council member.

This is the third time the women will be squaring off in the election. Political analysts say they expect this race to be competitive and close.
