Riverhead police say they are investigating a fire that may have been intentionally set.
They responded to Sweezy Avenue around 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning for a report of a fire on the ground underneath a car.
The officers on the scene were able to put it out.
Riverhead detectives and the Suffolk Arson Squad are now investigating.
