A Huntington Station father has admitted to sexually abusing his daughter.
The man’s name is not being released to protect the victim.
According to the Suffolk District Attorney, the incident happened between 2016 and 2019.
News 12 has been told the father was absent from the girl’s life and contacted her just before the abuse began. The girl was 7 years old at the time.
The girl eventually told a teacher in 2022 who called police.
The father will be sentenced next month.
