As COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted this week, a festival that was canceled last year because of the pandemic is making its return. 

Hundreds gathered in Pelham Bay for the Greek Festival Wednesday. 

The festival has been going on for at least five decades. Wednesday’s activities included authentic Greek food and Greek music. 

A fundraising event was put on by the ZooDooho’s Peghe Greek Orthodox Church. 

Organizers tell News 12 it’s one of the biggest fundraisers they have. The money is used to help provide food for those in need in the community.
